Messiah Sing-along
Everyone, anyone is welcome to come and join your voices in a rousing rendition of Handel’s Messiah. Every voice is welcome and included, and if you aren’t a singer, come and enjoy anyway. Bring your own score, or we will have extras to share. We will choose a selection of choral pieces, then finish with the Halleluia chorus. Refreshments and fellowship offered afterward.
All Church Event - Garden Picnic (39th Anniversary of the Church)
The congregation was chartered 39 years ago this September! Let’s gather on the Green Steward space for an all-church picnic. Bring your own food, or buy something from the BBQ Bueno food truck. Bring your own blanket or yard chairs, or sit at the picnic tables. Bring some yard games to share, or enjoy the ones others bring. Hear more about the Green Steward project and the Memorial Garden. Bring yourself, your family, and a few friends!
All Church Outing - Washington College Soccer Game
Let’s all gather at the Washington College soccer game, Wed Sep 18 at 700pm. We need to grw in our relationship with the college, and show them we see them and love them! Buy your own ticket at the gate, and meet us inside!
New Member Sunday
Join us in person or online as we welcome our newest members in Worship, then stay after to celebrate and share fellowship time with them!
All-Church Cruise on the Packet
We’ve rented out The Chester River Packet for an evening dinner cruise, and welcome any and all members and friends to hop aboard. $50 per person, and scholarships are available if needed.
Fireworks Party
Meet us at Wilmer Park (in Chestertown) for a family-friendly picnic! Pack your basket, bring your chairs, and load up the family for a fun evening under the fireworks. The show begins at dusk (usually around 9:15 PM.)
Garden Picnic
The end of May is a perfect time to gather in the garden for a picnic, and to celebrate all the beautiful changes around us… the shift of seasons, the arrival of summer, the graduations of students. Come enjoy the food and fellowship, and bring anyone who is hungry in body or spirit.
PCC does Tea Party
This year, our church will have a tent and table display at the annual Tea Party festival. Come see us! If you have room and time, volunteer to staff the booth, meet people, tell them about our church, and invite any and all to come and see!
Salad & Dessert Brunch
With our special guests from the Matiki Church in Malawi with us one more day, lets join together in one more all-church meal, and send them home with our love and support.

Maundy Thursday Soup Supper
Its Holy Week, the week before Easter, and Thursday is called “Maundy Thursday”. We sit down at table with one another, just like Jesus did the night he was betrayed, and we remember his command to love one another. Join us for this simple soup supper, then stay for worship after.
Chili Supper and Trivia
Bring your favorite Chili recipe to share, or just come hungry, and we promise… there is always enough at God’s table. Plus, we will team up at tables for a Trivia night competition. Who knows what the winners will take home this year?!
Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Remembrance Event
In partnership, Washington College, Minary’s Dream Alliance, and Chester Valley Ministers Association invite all to join in remembering the legacy of continuing the work of Rev. Dr. King. March from Fountain Park at 830am. Enjoy Breakfast at 900am (registration required). The Program begins at 1000am in the Gibson Center for the Arts.

Handel's Messiah Sing-a-Long
For those who appreciate singing (or hearing sung) Handel’s Messiah at Christmas time. Everyone is invited! We will divide into parts, hand out scores, and do our best to sing with one another this inspirational, life-celebrating piece.

38th Church Anniversary Picnic on the Lawn
Come celebrate the 38th anniversary of this Congregation with a glorious picnic on the lawn. We’ll have all the goodies, plus live music. If you have any connection to this church in any way, or are just hungry, come. At God’s table, there is always room!
